We offer various moving services, including Local Movers, Long-Distance Movers, Commercial Movers, Residential Moving, and Moving and Storage. You acknowledge that we will provide services in accordance with the agreement made during the booking process.
2. Booking and Payment
Booking: To schedule a move, you must complete our booking process through the website, by phone, or email. Upon booking, you will receive an estimate based on your service requirements, which may be subject to change depending on the actual services provided.
Payment: A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking. The balance will be due on the day of service. Payments are accepted via credit card, debit card, or other methods provided at the time of booking.
Non-refundable Deposit: Please note that any deposit made for your move is non-refundable, except in cases where we are unable to provide the service.
Cancellations: If you wish to cancel or reschedule your move, please notify us at least [insert time frame, e.g., 48 hours] prior to the scheduled moving date. A cancellation fee may apply.
3. Customer Obligations
Accurate Information: You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during the booking process, including the details of your move, any special requirements, and payment details. Failure to provide correct information may result in delays or additional charges.
Access to Premises: You are responsible for ensuring that there is adequate access to the premises, including parking and the ability to safely load and unload items.
Preparation of Belongings: You are responsible for preparing your belongings for the move. We recommend packing items securely and labeling boxes appropriately.
4. Liability and Insurance
Liability: Sun City Movers will take every reasonable step to ensure that your belongings are handled with care and arrive safely at the destination. However, we are not responsible for damage to items that are improperly packed or not adequately prepared for transport.
Insurance: We offer basic insurance coverage for your belongings, which covers a certain level of damage during the move. Additional coverage options may be available for purchase. You may inquire about the details of our insurance policy and opt for additional coverage if needed.
Damaged or Lost Items: In the event that items are damaged or lost during the move, please notify us immediately upon arrival at the destination. Claims must be filed within a specific time frame, which will be detailed in our insurance policy.
5. Pricing and Additional Charges
Estimates: The initial estimate provided is based on the information you provide. Additional charges may apply if there are changes to the move, such as last-minute adjustments, additional items to move, or delays.
Additional Charges: Possible additional charges include but are not limited to:
- Long carries (distance from the truck to your door).
- Heavy items or specialty items (piano, artwork, etc.).
- Stair fees or elevator fees.
- Additional labor or time beyond the original estimate.
6. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure to perform due to causes beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, labor strikes, delays from third-party service providers, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Florida.
